What We Believe

The following are the core beliefs of Hearts on Fire Church based on the foundational truths taught in the bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these biblical doctrines.

 We believe that God sent Jesus into the world to be a sacrifice. By Jesus giving up His blood and His life, by being obedient to die a gruesome death on a cross, has brought redemption to all mankind. We are redeemed or saved when we acknowledge what Jesus did, believe that Jesus died and rose from the dead, and invite Him in our hearts to be our Lord and Savior. When we then confess Him as our Lord, salvation comes into our lives and the third person of the Godhead, the Holy Spirit, makes His dwelling place in us.

We also believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit with evidence of speaking in our heavenly prayer language.

We believe the Father God reigns from His throne in heaven and that Jesus is seated at His right hand and the Holy Spirit is in all who believe.

We believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
We believe that Hearts on Fire flows and operates in all the gifts. Tongues, Interpretation, and Prophecy are all for us NOW. The gift of faith, the gifts of healings, and the working of miracles are for us now. The word of knowledge, the word of wisdom, and the discerning of spirits are gifts that are all operating in this house.

Jesus Christ came to reconcile us with God. He lived a life without sin and willingly died on the cross to pay the penalty for our transgressions. God raised him from the dead and now, by grace, offers as a free gift eternal life to all who follow Christ, by faith, as their Lord and Savior. That is why salvation can be found in Christ alone.

The Church is meant to be the visible body of Christ, sent into the world to glorify God and proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ.

We believe as we are faithful to our vision, mandate, mission and who we are in
 Him, that believers will come together in community and grow,
mature, and become strong warriors that know how to win.

We believe that signs and wonders follow the word of God.
We believe that signs and wonders are the norm and not the exception.

Jesus Christ is returning one day to judge both the living and the dead and to usher in the fullness of God's kingdom on earth. 

We believe that when we come together that the presence of God fills
 the house and a tangible realm of His glory is revealed.
We believe the glory of God is in this house and in our lives.
